Nothing familiar on the left, neither a thing that could ring a bell on the right. Was there anything that resembled her home up? Not at all? And how about the floor? By the amount of junk lying around it would take ages to put them away just to examine it.
“I have officially no idea where I am.” Mustered Olivia. The young girl of brown spiky short hair blinked continuously. Her head felt a tad drowsy, as if she had woken for a dream.
“Last thing I remember, I was going to the supermarket to get me some pudding, and then... I’m here, in this weird bedroom.” She glanced around again at what surrounded. It was not as if the place felt intimidating, quite the contrary. She saw posters on the walls of series and games she had never heard about, but looked familiar.
“Way too familiar, almost as if they were trying to avoid copyright laws.” Thought the girl surprising herself. Those where not the kind of troubles, that... well, troubled her. She crossed her legs and began to absentmindedly fondle her always bare feet, not paying special attention to the skin's softness. How did she manage to have such jealous-inducing foot bottoms without using shoes or going through any treatment in particular? It was a mystery.
“I’d better walk around a bit and get a clue about how to get back home.” She said getting up, trying not to step on the amount of trash scattered at the floor, whoever lived there did not had tidiness as their main feature. “Maybe there’s someone here?” She added in a mutter.
In a few seconds, she reached the door that lead who knew where, but something made her stop in her tracks. Something outrageous! She puffed her cheeks in order to show how ferociously mad she was.
“These are not my clothes!” She complained aloud, puffing her cheeks even more in a not especially mature gesture. “This white shirt, pink shorts... And the hoodie? It’s a hamster, not my Po***on one!” She gasped, why could she not say that word aloud?
“This is getting strange; I gotta get out of here!” Decided Olivia before turning the doorknob.

There is a saying that goes like this: if life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Olivia found no lemons, but something way better instead. She closed her olive eyes, enjoying the sweet and sophisticated texture of heavenly treat she found inside of a fridge.
“Aaaa...” she moaned lowly, “this pudding is perfect!” Said Olivia, her legs dangling from the chair she was seating on, which was not thought for someone her size. What if the only door that probably lead to the outside was locked? What if she happened to be inside of a flat high enough to regard any attempt to use any windows as a mean of escape, suicide? She got pudding! Not one, but two of them!
“I’ve never heard of any ‘Umaru’ flavour, but this one is nice!” Said Olivia licking the sweet syrup from the plate. Sure, it was not polite to do that, but who was there to see her? “Now, I’ll try this one labelled... ‘Taihei’.” The girl fringed her nose, “Seriously, who comes up with these names?”
Taking a spoonful into her petite mouth, she was surprised to discover the flavour was exactly the same as with the other one she just had. Not that she was going to complain, it had been delicious!

Once the delightful snack was over, she considered her options: the house she was in was nice, well equipped with all kind of commodities, and the room she first appeared was full of videogames that looked interesting.
“It won’t hurt to kill some time until someone opens the door. I wonder how I will explain how I entered though, because I have no idea!” She shrugged her shoulders, it was pointless to worry about that. Whatever had to come would eventually do.

Taihei Doma was exhausted. His day at work had been terrible, not only he had to deal with extremely pestering clients, but the server fell down when he was about to leave. Who had to recover the losses in the databases? Him, of course! Would he be paid those extra hours as he deserved? Probably not.
“And Umaru must be hungry... Man, I don’t feel like cooking but for her to have done anything fruitful would be too much to ask...” Said the young man resignedly. Calming himself, he inserted the keys and turned them, getting ready for whatever tantrum his spoiled little sister would throw at him.
Oddly enough, no yell or whine was heard, which was highly unexpected.
“Maybe she’s in her room?” He asked to nobody in particular. “Umaru! I’m home, are you there?” No answer. She must probably been playing some games, how on earth did she manage to get those high grades if he never saw her touching a book, he did not know. At least it could be worse: she could be lazy both at home and in school.
Thinking about this, he realised how hungry he was and went to the kitchen. There he saw something that made his eyebrow twitch a little.
“Okay, she had a snack and didn’t wash the dishes... Wouldn’t it hurt to do something in the house for once?” He sighed, heavens knew he had tried to teach her sister how to be an actual person and failed miserably.
Then, he saw another thing that did not please him: a trail of empty cola bottles.
“Seriously? She’s going to get cavities at this rate!” Complained the brunet man, adjusting his glasses before checking the fridge in search of something nutritious to make for both him and his sibling.
At that moment, he fell in shock. His pulse rose, his muscles became trampled, his throat got dry and his glasses almost fell. The last straw had been defiled!
“The puddings I made...” babbled Taihei in disbelief, “I told her to wait until dinner... She ate both!” He clenched his fists and turned on his heels. It was time to set things straight with that spoiled brat. Patience had a limit, and Taihei’s had been reached by far.

Olivia was having the time of her life! Right under the puddings she enjoyed, were countless bottles of cola to ease her thirst, and to drink those while playing games... That was the life!
“I could get used to this!” Exclaimed the girl enjoying the fuzziness of the bed she sat onto. She was in the middle of an exciting race, about to get in first place; the goal line was there when suddenly...
The door slammed open. The vision of a strange man yelling at her stopped her heart inside her chest.
“Umaru! You really did it this time! When will you ever start accepting any responsibilities?! One of these days you’ll live your own life and you won’t have your brother to do everything for you. Mature already!” Yelled the mysterious man.
Once Olivia recovered from the scare, she threw the controlled at him. Nobody scares her like that!
“Leave me alone! I don’t know who you are. You can’t just scream and boss me around!” Said the girl, perhaps the doubting how mature she was had gotten on her worst mood.

This was absurd! As he expected, Umaru was wasting her time playing videogames. But this reaction? That was going too far! To pretend he was a stranger... her own brother.
“Of course I can boss you around, because if you don’t...” he replied, “I’ll have to punish you!” Umaru looked at him defiantly, strange, normally she would throw a tantrum or cry at him.
“Punish me? If you touch me I’ll scream!” said the girl insolently. He paid no attention to that and acted quickly: seizing one end of the green blanket over his sister’s bed, he rolled it around the girl’s petite frame, who, in her utter disbelief found herself wrapped in the material without nothing she could do, until only her head and bare feet were left out uncovered. The moment after, he seized a pair of belts and locked them around the girl’s torso and calves, ensuring she would not move anywhere.
“Let me go, you pervert! What do you think you are doing?!” Yelled Umaru in a way that did not suit her, almost as if somebody else was speaking. Not that it mattered. Taihei calmly sat on the floor, until his sister’s petite feet were in front of him and smiled.
“What I’m going to do? Something I should have done long ago.” He felt the utmost satisfaction when he saw the terror of realising what was about to happen to her in Umaru’s eyes. He saw his fingers wriggling in the air, approaching the small feet he knew were utterly sensitive from playing when being little. “Coochie, coochie, coo, Umaru!”

It is not lovely to enjoy the taste of pudding while savouring the subtle nuances one young lady’s laugher evolution while having her wonderfully ticklish feet toyed?
“Ah, the kind of refined laughter only a tomboy can provide. Always perfect to energise one’s soul.” Mustered an uninvited newcomer who had found a secret compartment at the Doma’s household fridge containing a third godly treat. “I’ll never grow tired at how the initial defiance turns into pleading one the barrier of pride is broken. Simply wonderful.”
“Nohohohohoho!!!” echoed Olivia’s laughter from Umaru’s bedroom, judging from her complains, Taihei was doing a great job at exploring the treasures hidden in those ticklish feet of hers. “Pleahahahase nohohot the heels!”
“Please? You are trying to be polite now? You should have thought that sooner!” Said the man’s voice rose over the girl’s desperate laughter. “I’m not stopping until you realise you can’t go on like this!”
“I wohohohonot! Mihihihister! Pleahahahase I hahahaven’t dhohohone anything!!” Yelled Olivia, it seemed her soft heels were deliciously tender and sensitive, judging from her reactions.
“Exactly, you didn’t do anything. You never do anything! And unless you begin doing the chores this is going to happen to you every day!” Menaced the man whose fingers turned more vengeful as the girl’s laughter increased exponentially.
Whilst the unwelcomed guest enjoyed his pudding by using a spoon with no hands, something worth seeing, he pondered about how terrible a calm man’s anger was.
“A little subtle pre-conditioning surely helps.” Added the squatter pleased with himself. After all, Olivia should thank him that he hinted Taihei’s subconscious to simply tickle her feet. With revenge and abandon, sure, but it could be worse, could it not?

Another week comes and I bring you with a new installment of the 'Out of Place' series commissioned by :iconcodricor1:. In this occassion we got :iconkwtsag:'s OC Olivia being caught in the middle of a misundertanding and a big brother whose patience has ran out from 'Himouto! Umaru-chan'.

Olivia is copyrighted by :iconkwtsag:
Umaru and Taihei Doma are copyrighted by Sankaku Head.

Fundacts:
-Originally I was going to draw an horizontal picture, but I chose to do it vertical instead.
-I understand Umaru's signature hoodie can't be highly noticed this way, but I liked how Olivia's hair look in my style, that's why it's been put down.
-I have never seen 'Umaru-chan', I imagine Taihei is a pushover but I hope I haven't forced his personality here.

I had to Google this one too but I DO know of it! So now I know what it is, and it looks annoyingly cute XD

Loving the story that goes along with it too, fits so well into a "punishing the layabout" fantasy X3 I also love rolled up/mummified tickles. Being completely stuck with nowhere to go. The belts to keep her in place were a very nice touch sir ;3 And I will say Olivia's hair impressed me the most. It caught my eye instantly. Well done~
